Among Us review

Among Us is a world-known multiplayer social deduction video game. It first launched in 2018 but became truly popular in 2020. The developer of the game is InnerSloth. Among Us is like the game of “Mafia” but in space.

Gameplay

A small group of astronauts (4-10 people) got into trouble: the spaceship is broken and the are plenty of tasks that need to be done. However, there are some imposters on the ship. So if you are the normal peaceful astronaut, you have to do some tasks around the ship. Also, don’t forget that there are some imposters around, so you should pay attention to every other player. And if you are an imposter, you have to pretend to do some tasks as well as peaceful astronauts and murder them without causing any suspicion.

Controls

The controls of the game are quite simple. One tap is to interact with an object, two taps are to activate it. It is extremely easy to get used to it. you don’t need any special skills to play Among Us at all. All you need is to click on some buttons and to think critically.

Graphics

The graphics of one of the most popular games right now are not what you’d expect. They are very simple. But the 2D format with its cartoony aesthetic has some indie game charm. The graphics and animation of the game have the atmosphere of the mid-2000s games and we find it pretty nostalgic.

Information about replayability

After playing the same game with the same people you’re most likely to get bored at some point. If you already know everybody on your team too well and can say when the person is lying immediately, it won’t be interesting to play. But you can always play with some other team. It can be your friends or just some random people online.

Conclusion

Among Us is a great game. You can play it if you’re bored and it doesn’t need any special skills. Also, it is one of the best games for people who don’t have enough time to play other games (like me). However, I don’t really like the fact that there are too many cheaters. But if you play with your friends, it doesn’t matter at all. Among Us looks like it has a great future and it will be one of the most popular games in 2020.
