Fortnite review

Fortnite is a free-to-play, third-person shooter, survival game, co-developed and published by Epic Games. The game is set in a world where 98% of Earth’s population suddenly disappears. The remaining few scavenge for supplies in order to survive against the monsters that are left on the planet. The game is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. In recent years, gaming has become a popular form of entertainment for many people of all ages. One game in particular, Fortnite, has taken the world by storm. Created in 2017 and released in July 2018, Fortnite is a game where players team up to survive and destroy the storm that was called "The Storm."

Gameplay

In Fortnite, a player is randomly put on one of the game’s four maps and is tasked with fending off waves of zombies and other monsters. Players are equipped with weapons that they find from looting in-game buildings. Unlike other shooters, Fortnite has minimalistic story, but that does not take away from the game’s addictiveness.

The gameplay in Fortnite is split between two phases, building and combat. Players must construct forts out of materials found on the map to protect themselves from the storm. Building will continue as long as the player is not in combat. The player enters combat with either a harvesting tool or a weapon. Combat is divided into three types:

1. Duos: Two players team up to battle.
2. Squads: Four players team up to battle.
3. Solo: One player battle.

Graphics

The graphics in Fortnite are really good. There is a wide variety of weapons and items in the game, and each one is unique and interesting. The animations are smooth and well-polished, and there is a lot of detail put into the characters’ appearances. Even though this is not the most graphically-advanced game out there, Fortnite does a great job of making the graphics work for it.

Replayability

Fortnite is a game that is easy to play and hard to master, and as a result, it is very addicting. Players are never really bored, as there is always something new to discover. The game is also constantly being updated, which means that there is always something new to look forward to.
