Top 4 Video Games of All Time

I’m going to list the top 4 PS4 games that I’ve played so far. These are in no particular order. I’ll give a little synopsis on each of these games and why I enjoyed them so much.

4. Final Fantasy VII

This game is essential to my generation. I remember playing this game in middle school and being floored with the story of Cloud Strife and his friends. The characters were all so unique and the storyline was one of the most well-crafted stories in a video game ever. This is my favorite cast of characters of any video game. It also introduced me to the concept of cut scenes. Playing this game as a kid really opened my eyes to the possibilities of the video game medium.

3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I can’t really say too much about this game. It’s a classic and it holds up to this day. It’s Zelda. It was my first experience with the franchise and it’s one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had playing a game.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

This game was like a breath of fresh air after Ocarina of Time. It took the same formula and adapted it to a completely new world. It’s a masterpiece.

1. Until Dawn

I was actually really surprised by this game. I saw it featured in a PlayStation Plus promotion and it looked interesting. I ended up playing it and was immediately hooked. I was a little hesitant because you play as a group of teens and I wasn’t sure how well that would work. I was completely wrong. The characters are all interesting and the story is told in a really unique way. You’re basically making choices that determine who lives or dies. I played through it twice and got two completely different experiences. It’s a great game.
