This November, a major competitive esports event is set to energize the Asian gaming scene, offering offers enthusiasts a thrilling chance to experience world-class Counter-Strike 2 action in Hong Kong.
Event organizers have confirmed that the tournament will take place in the bustling city, marking the largest esports gathering in the region so far. The competition has earned a distinguished designation from Hong Kong's Major Sports Events Committee, a recognition that underscores the event’s role in showcasing the city's status as a global hub for sports and entertainment.
Scheduled for November 12-16, this championship will be among the final prominent Counter-Strike 2 tournaments of the year. Attendees can expect an adrenaline-charged atmosphere at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Arena, with a lucrative prize pool of $1 million up for grabs.
The tournament will feature eight teams in total. The breakdown of participants is as follows:
- Four teams will secure their positions through Valve's Regional Standings.
- The remaining four teams will gain entry via qualification from their respective regions, namely Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.
