Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising – Beatrix Joins the Roster on May 23rd

The latest downloadable character for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Beatrix, will make her debut on May 23rd. Known for her association with the Society group that includes Zeta and Ghandagoza, Beatrix battles using her unique sword, Embrasque, which possesses the mystical ability to "devour causality." This ability allows her to perform with remarkable prowess.

Beatrix's fighting techniques involve a mix of charging attacks and quick dashes, some of which can cleverly bypass defensive moves to directly strike her foes. Additionally, her sword can temporally slow down enemies on their descent, providing Beatrix with opportunities for extra strikes. Her most powerful move, the Super Skybound Art, is visually and functionally extravagant, enlarging enormously and plunging with significant force, resembling the famous Excalibur move from Fate/Grand Order.

The update, version 1.40, will launch simultaneously with Beatrix’s release and includes her as part of Character Pass 1, though she is also available for individual purchase at $7.99. Players can look forward to further enhancing their experience with two additional DLC characters scheduled for release in August and October.
